Hello All - this is Pegaso's germanic warrior in 75mm. What a beautiful piece to do. I opted not to do any conversions as this was so perfect to begin with. And I don't have that much time to paint, so I want to spend it painting instead of sculpting or converting.

Anyway, this was done in mostly acrylics ( Vallejo, Ceramcoat, Jo Sonja, Andrea, Golden and Badger). A few inks and watercolors were also used. The base was a piece of aspen tree that I cut and sanded.

Hope you all enjoy. Of course, all types of comments and criticisms are acceptable.

Hi Brad
Very good paint job, as you probably know I am doing this as a conversion piece so yours will give me some further ideas
I also like your version of the shield. All together a very well executed figure
Well done
Cheers
John

That's an excellent and neat work on a classic figure. Beautiful colors, great background make up a great result.

Brad, this is one of your best mate! Nice shading, good groundwork and the shield design is fantastic! Nice work, this guy better be in Tulsa this next year!

Wow! Thank you EVERYONE for your replies.

Jay - Thanks for your kudos. I do consider it my best yet. But I know I have a long way to go yet also. The warrior will be in Tulsa.

John Norman - Thanks for your reply. I did not want to infringe on your blog as I know you are getting close to having yours done also. It was just coincidental that we were both in similair stages of progress. By the way, yours looks awesome. I admire the way you have converted it.

Ernesto - I agree. I got some weird reflections when picture taking. It actually does have more contrast.
