Gen. Kornilov Shock Infantry Division

Hi Roy, I finally got a photo of the Kornilov Officer bust. See attached.
This was fun to paint- so far, however, my problem, as I've mentioned before, is that I will go so far with a fig and then my attention will be caught by another and so on. I have about two dozen figs in various stages of work and only complete and base about four or five figures a year.

Further to the above photo- Roy, one modification I did was- I felt that the eyes were too deeply inset (i.e. the eyeballs) so I filled them in slightly with small lozenges of miliput.

Now I should be inspired to finish this piece!!

Joseph...thanks for posting the picture...it's great to see some paint on it...
it would be even better to see it finished of course..
As for the straying to other figures as they catch your attention, that goes to show how we are spoilt for choice, certainly not a bad thing for modellers.
Well done for the mod to the eyeballs, it looks like you've done them very well..
Hope you have the time and enthusiasm to continue painting him, it would be a shame for all those medals to get tarnished now, wouldn't it..
