Working on a Gendarme Elite mounted and the pic has him in yellow pants/gloves but the only pic on the net i can find is one where he is in red pants/gloves. Any suggestions

Hello Jason,
If you are talking about a figure of the Gendarmes d'elite de la Garde Imperiale of the Napoleonic period, then the breeches, gloves and white-trimmed belts would all be BUFF colored leather, NOT yellow cloth. I don't know where you are seeing red but perhaps it is from illustrations of the ancien regime period.
