Hi again
As promised, this is the first post on my most recent miniatures.
Geoffrey de Chargny was the bearer of the famous "Oriflamme", a french banner that was the simbol of the army's valour. He died in the battle of Poitiers and the banner was lost. There no real reference about the design of the banner. The last existing one (that was burnt during the french revolution) has the name "St Denis" and similar designs to the one in the miniature.
The miniature comes from Andrea Miniatures:

I made some modifications, including the substitution of the spear for a banner modeled on a brass tube and the replacement of the weapons for others made by myself with the help of some bits and a medieval weapons pack from M Model.

Historical knowledge on the subject I have not - since the subject is mainly my naked - but I liked the armor and the skintones. The flag if painted by hand is just excellent
