The stripes look great but I don't envy you having to paint those stars free hand.....if that is the plan. Great figure.

This is a beautiful piece with my only criticism being that if that is a cigar in his right hand Custer never smoked. Other than that I wish this was a produced piece, I would buy it.

In answer to your question about the number of stars on the American Flag during the Civil war; 33, 34, 35, and 36 stars. The 35-star U.S. flag was the one flown most extensively during the war.
