Completed George Washington

Hi guys,

I just finished this great bust, sculpted by Matt Springer for the Artist Preservation Group. I enjoyed the painting quite a bit, and it feels good to finally get this one done, as it's been in my stash for around 10 years now. I used some texturing to simulate a coarse, woolen cape and the felt hat. Painted with acrylics. Thanks for looking!

Just opened the PF home page. Saw a superbly painted bust of George Washington at the top. The name Jason Green popped into my head. Then I looked down and read J. Green. Unmistakable.

Superb in every detail from the texture to the silk moire pattern on the sash. Just beautiful! Jason do you use the same basic flesh palette on your figures? If so what do you start with?
