Excellent sculpt and paint as always. Not my subject choice personally, but can see why it would appeal to many.
With regard to the lenses, there are many aftermarket lenses available for model cars in many scales, so that may be an option.
My only gripe, what's with the cigarette trend on busts these days. Smoking kills

Cheers

Ron

Fantastic sculpt! I don't have any issues with the cut/shape of the bust, it seems pretty classic to me; it is simlar to busts produced by Andrea.

I like whats there, but I am reminded of a certain black knight from Monty Python and the Holy Grail

Agreed! MArvelous but (h)armless... :)

With referance to glass in the lenses I bought some slips for microscope slides thats real thin glass and cheap from fleabay.love the bust as well I wonder if its from a photograph as prevoius works were? Mick

For the glass I would just use any clear plastic (such as from a container or packaging ) cut into a circle and glued to the back of the frames with white glue.

Hello Sang!
What about the sculpture, it is impressive finesse and detailing, as always with you or with your friend Ju, I think everything has been said in this connection, we ended up not to be impressed and surprised! But the "set color" of the jewelry, it is amazing and the face is crying out for truth in terms of the high level of representation of the skin. For the jacket, leathers, helmet and grenade, every millimeter is refined to perfection, like the face, without exaggeration of shadows and lights, it increases the realism!
Cool tones harmonize all, this is fantastic!
3 questions (which I dream the answers!!)
-do you use the same color references (Jo Sonja) used to J.peiper and Waffen Grenadier (or Winston, "the prime minister") for the face?
- This is the same technique to the face and uniform? as well as "accessories, I guess)
and!! give us other tutorials on how you paint, please do, please !!!
thank you Sang

Love everything about it , wasnt sure at first but has grown on me painting leads the way only just one small thing the back of his hair dosent look "right" to me see what you think for yourself looks as if the hairs running sideways and hes got a lump in the back of his neck dont hang me just expressing an opinion , im still getting one.mick

Hi Ron If you get rid of the cigarette you would have to get rid of his weapons as they tend to kill a wee bit quicker!!!!!!!

Thanks everyone for your praise and constructive critism :) Any types of your interest in my range leads me to new and fresh thinking. I'd just like to say thank you for having been a buyer of LIFE MINIATURES for me to continue this venture over the last year :)

Hi CAT, About the color of face, Yes, I used almost the same color references used to the previous busts, except a bit of olive green and grey for some parts of the shadows.

I will give you more advanced SBS tutorial with my next bust in July. One of my friends who is very good at writing english and also a good figure painter will help me to write it :)

Cheers

Sang-Eon

Is it just me or does the painted bust on Life miniatures have a huge zit on his chin? I think it looks very ugly and spoils an otherwise exemplary paint job. Sorry Sang Eon but I just don't like it.
