Acrylics German Coat WW2

I've just painted the base wash on this coat and helmet cover. I don't know if grey or grey-green or even camo is correct for this machine gunner. Any help would be appreciated.

I'd go with Field Grey Chris, I think it's a greatcoat.

You have some latitude on that one Chris. There was no one single standard colour. Anything from field grey (as suggested by Carl) to greyish-green, to medium/dark green is pretty much get-awayable with. Not camo though.
