But why do you make the sleeve envelopes of the Tscherkesska not red?

With the Kuban-Cossacks this coat was fed usually red, as the picture of such an original-uniform shows...:

Martin, on your picture the cuffs are curled out ;) They are red inside. I didn't paint sleeves inside yet.

The rang-insigina shown on Your picture is a prikashny (seargeant), but I think it is wrong coloured, for he stripes have to be white or silver...:

The Orders on the picture are two St.-George-Crosses (as lent only to enlisted men and ensigns) 4th class (silver), and two of the 3rd class (gold) from the First World War...:

The cross on the right is an order from the russian civil war of the "White Army".

Officers wore other St.-George-Crosses, like this...:
