Ok, despite not 100% finished (the collar insignia are for now absent, as I wouldn't be able to hand paint them, so they will be added when I find some appropriate decals), a few pics of my last 120mm Verlinden figure, a German General from the Wehrmacht. The arm bands I opted for (from a Verlinden decals sheet) place him in the Grossdeutschland Division (so, as far as I was able to find, anywhere in the Western European or the Eastern European fronts, even thought the vignette was intended to show him in the Western front) .
From the various Verlinden figures I've recently painted, this one is the one I feel was better achieved, so I'm quite happy with the final result.
As usual I started by priming the figure with Mr Primer Surfacer 1000, then for the base colors I used various Humbrol enamels, depending on the final color I wanted to achieve with oils (so the final colors used were different oil paintings mixes) .
