This recent 120mm figure from Airborne Miniatures was painted in oils, inks and acrylics.

I’ve been itching to try my hand at painting the flecktarn camouflage pattern for a while, and this figure seemed like a good opportunity to try it

Thank you very much. This is one of those two KSK figures released by Airborne Miniatures last year. I’m considering painting the second figure in their dessert camo pattern.

Thank you very much. It would appear that there has been a significant convergence in the international special forces community regarding uniforms and equipment. I use the Pinterest app to collect photos to use as references in a project like this. I was struck by how similar the KSK was equipped compared to US Tier 1 units. That is particularly true when the use of multi-cam is involved. This photo provide some insight into this concept.

The silver lining to this is that Airborne Miniatures figures offer a lot of potential possibilities for modeling soldiers from the special forces of many countries.

It is so true and what I like of Airborne Miniatures, is like you said, that you can paint them like numerous Special Forces.
