I'm having a bit of a painting draught atm, other matters taking my mind of the brushes, so I've dug some old pictures out, and thought I show you some "I did earlier"..
This is a 1/16 scale figure I painted, ooh, 15 years ago? It's one of Dragon's plastic figures, obviously modelled on a famous photo serie from the Battle of the Bulge, depicting the MG gunner from Kampfgruppe Hansen, at Poteau on the 18th of December.
The base was the standard bla k p,mastic base as came with the kit, I used some wood veneer to make it look better..
Another one I did in the same era, sorry for the bad photo quality, but they are 15 years old..
Another Dragon plastic figure, 1/16 scale. I moved the Sturmgewehr from his left hand to sling over his shoulder, as I thought him more to be standing at rest, looking over his shoulder. The base was made with sand and mixed herbs, and coffee stirrers from a famous fast food restaurant...
