I have dealt with Bill Wolf for Pagaso and Verlinden items as his price is great and service is superior. He is also my online supplier for Humbrol and Floquil paint. He is always ready to help and go that extra mile. He also trades as Black-Knight Figures.
Correct, I think the link I referred to leads to the "Black Knight Figures" site. They do not have the large number of kits listed that they used to, but one can always e-mail to see what is available. Bill seems a nice fellow, and goes out of his way to help.

Ernesto, beautiful work, the camoflage is right on the money, this figure is turning out to be on of the best WWII figures I've ever seen. ;)

Keep up the good work.

Ciao

Hola Ernesto!

I think your painting is simply superb, the camo is spot on for the summer oakleaf, which at same time might be a problem. I have never seen (not saying there werent) a summer pattern oak-leaf camo on a winter coat with a white reversable side. Don't really make sense to have a summer camo pattern on a heavy wintercoat that is reversible to white.

I love the camo painting though, it is superb. Keep it up!

Anders, I have seen this pattern commonly refered to as "spring oakleaf" in addition to "summer". I think it would make sense to have reversible parkas in spring colors, as it could be a bit cold towards the end of winter and start of spring, when the snow starts to melt and things get green again. Here's a pic of a reproduction from 1944 Militaria:

More pics are here: http://www.1944militaria.com/waffen_ss_camouflage.htm These guys take this stuff seriously, and I don't think they would make it if it didn't exist. I can't remember if I have seen the real thing, but my computer just crashed and I lost all my pics :(
Have a good one,
Evan

Cool!!! Thanks for clarifying!

The joke is on me, I just never seen any and it just dont make a whole lot of sense.

Thanks again mate for enlightening me :)

Hola Ernesto,

the figure is shaping out real nicely especially with the painting of the face and helmet. Can't wait to see how the rest turns out!
