Could anyone help me findind photos of german tankers using the "u-boat" leather jacker?

But, please, if possible, tankers from the Heer. I know about the use of this jacket by the SS, but i am curious if the army used it.

Thank in advance

I'm not aware of this type of jacket being worn by Wehrmacht tankers Filipe. I wasn't there so don't take this as definitive, but I have only seen pictures of ss wearing this.

The question was solved at a brazilian forum. I normally say that, from 42 onwards, everything is possible in german uniform. :D

To make the history short, yes, there were a few uses by Heer officers of this u-boot jacket.

Here, a document of the US inteligence about leather jackets, mentioning the Grossdeustchland, besides the SS

And, finally, a photo evidence. A officer of the 20. Panzer Division surrendering to the american V Army Corps, using exactly the same jacket

I hope that this helps others here at planetFigure. :)

From what I understood, the black U-Boat leathers were surplused when the Kreigsmarine dictated that their men would wear grey leather, not black. I seem to recall that it was a small amount of non-issued sets discovered near the sub pens in France, then given to local armor units.
