Very nice painting, so take these comments as constructive criticism of the historical inaccuracies of figure itself. If this figure is of an enlisted uhlan, his shoulder straps should be "pear-shaped" and there would be no reason for him to have a pistol and/or binoculars. If he is an officer, he would not have a lance, and the mortarboard cords would be muted silver w/ black flecking. Either way, the buttons on the ulanka would match the fittings on the helmet, either all nickel or all brass.
