FYI everyone. Two things. If you're coming to the show and want to do the Artifact Tour on Sat morning please remember that you must sign up for a time slot. We can only get 20 people in the space at a time so we need to plan ahead. Times are 1000, 1040, and 1120. Email me directly with your choice of time and I'll put you on the list. Also. The time for the Picketts Charge Tour on Sunday has been changed. The start time is now 0930. Hopefully this will allow everyone time to get back to the hotel and check out if they're leaving that day or get lunch before the awards ceremony. Any question please write to me. [email protected]

Regards,

Mike

Well, if this tour includes walking across to the "highwater mark" it's not to be missed. For those that have never done it and think the ground is flat...think again. ~Gary

I thought you where reffering to the museum tour. Here's what I got from Scott on the Picketts Charge Tour/walk "Jen Murray, a PhD student at Auburn and a seasonal here for about six years, will do the Pickett's Charge walk. She knows her stuff on the
subject." And " The Friday, 10 a.m. program on myths and controversies will be given by Rick Bartol. He's been a seasonal ranger here for 28 years and teaches history during the school year..."

As you know Tim Smith who is a Licensed Battlefield Guide will be doing the Wheatfield and Little Round Top tour/talks. Tim is very good and highly recommended.

Godell is doing the Artifact tour/talk.

Events

Mike

As of todays date is the schedules shown in this link correct as to times and dates, especially the tours and events ?

As I understand it, we can sign up when we arrive, or do we need sign up before arrival for all events/tours, not just the Artifacts tour ??
Thanks

Richard,

Here's the scoop. We will also have a map and brochure available at the APG admissions desk with all the info. You only need to sign up for the Uniform and Artifact Tour so we can control the times and flow of people through the space.
