Just now I am finished vintage 30-40's girl on beach. Scale 1/35 (and may be bit a smaller), material Apoxie.
She is my first naked girl. I see many defects of my sculpt and I want hear your true opinions.

Александр, очень хороша! Это твой стиль, и менять здесь ничего не нужно.
С уважением, Николай.
(Alexander, very good! it is your style and it is not necessary to change.
With respect, Nickolay).

Nice work Alexander! Overall I think this is really well done for the scale, and the pose and general anatomy look good. The slimness of the arms is really impressive, especially near the wrist (y)

One thing that I immediately thought looking at the larger pics is that the surface could do with being a bit smoother in a few areas (e.g. outside of left thigh, the front and sides of the waist), these still look a bit carved and not as smoothly rounded as they should be.

Anatomically there are some minor issues, we've seen much worse on commercial pieces though! The neck/shoulder area is challenging in this pose and I think you've mostly got it right but I think the left upper arm/shoulder transition could be moved in towards the body just a little, and perhaps there should be a touch more definition in the triceps as they are flexed in this pose. Also, I think there should be some creasing on the back, between or just above the shoulder blades.

I love this set - you've captured that '40s look in the two women perfectly, the subject matter is so unusual and the sculpting is great. Will they be released commercially?
Cheers!

Outstanding stuff , It remindes me so much of the 40s-50s . I use to have a pair of woven swimming trunks as a kid , there is one hugh problem with woven trunks when wet, it's a good job I was only a little lad then;):D, and still am !!
One thing that does seem a little odd to me is on the seated female is her left leg , from the knee down to her ankles seems much thinner than the other leg .
I can can see these two lovely ladies in some nice WW2 dioramas .

Thanks for your posts!
I am think about commercial use of these figures. May be they will be available in Stalingrad line or may be they will not casting in resin never... I am not satisfaction in sculpt quality and want not sell middling figures...

Hi Alexander, from the pictures I see here the sculpting looks superb. Were these figures to be available commercially, I can say they would easily be the best 1/35 civilian women on the market. I would absolutely purchase a pair - I can already see a diorama with these two beside a lake and a distracted jeep of GIs swerving off the road.
Cheers!
