Hi All,

I could not help starting a new figure before my on-going minuteman project was finished. This is a small conversion of a 1:35 scale resin figure from the company Stalingrad. The Stalingrad figures are somewhat crude sculpts, but they have nice original poses.

The idea is that this guy is happily throwing away his rifle after VE day in May 1945.

I changed the head for a Hornet one, repositioned the left arm, and made a new right arm, which has a copper wire all through the index finger to attach the rifle to. It was a rather delicate job to file away the index finger from the Verlinden spare hand.

I am now looking for solutions to do the insignia. I'd like to use decals for the breast eagle and 'tresse'. Any suggestions for a good brand?

Hope you like it. Don't hesitate to make comments.

Cheers,
Adrian
