I end this difficult year with an experimental figure for myself.

Gladiator "Essedaria" from Medieval Forge Miniatures (the third in the series "Gladiators of Ancient Rome")
Sculptor: Evgeny Nifedov.
Scale: 1/24

The first time I painted a female in general, and a light-skinned in particular. That I ask the most respectable comrades to take into account, and it is advisable to throw shoes along a gentle trajectory :) But exactly on target :)

Wishes, suggestions, constructive and healthy criticism are naturally strongly welcomed.

P.S. The painting, like the photo, was carried out by "swoops". Therefore, I beg your pardon, the light "walks" a little, depending on the time of day.

Incredible painting and the delicate pale skin tones of a woman not exposed to constant sun, the tattoos and the shield are all perfectly replicated.

Fabulous!

Excellent painting, Evgeny. I really like what you've done with this piece, I'm doing one myself at the moment. You're right, female flesh tones are different to a male's.

Stunning my friend.(y)[/quot

Thank you very much my friends for the good comments and positive opinions about this paintwork:) . Painting this figure was not easy for me, because I paint the figures not very long ago and still do not know much. Now I got a lot of experience and the next works similar to this one, I hope, will be better:D . Once again, thank you all very much. I wish you happiness in the new year, and a lot of joy from our best hobby in the world!!!
