Mark S,

You are fortunate enough to live in Western Australia! ... How do you think I feel! being 450 mile away and land locked..... I blame the bloody 'Romans', for wimping out!:D Those wall's should have been much, much taller ! and better maintained..

Mark

That's 'cos all the Brickies took the Glasgow Fair Fortnight ........ I think I've mentioned this before, for the benefit of all non- UK members ...... Hadrians Wall is largely constructed of shortbread and is the only man-made structure in Britain that can be seen from Space,

Is that Glaswegian, 'Short-Bread',.. The hardest & heaviest material known to mankind! .. :angelic: Then I am not surprised the Romans gave up! ... Too heavy to bloody lift it!:D

Steady on there Mark, wars have been started on less......:D
Aye, fight and you may die, run, and you'll live... at least a while. And dying in your beds, many years from now, would you be willin' to trade ALL the days, from this day to that, for one chance, just one chance, to come back here and tell our enemies that they may insult our wives, but they'll never insult... OUR BISCUITS!

My Caledonian brothers, please don't unfairly and erroneously promote Mark S. to the exalted status of a "West Australian". He has neither the physical nor sexual prowess, nor the awesome intellectual capacity to qualify for entry to our great State of Western Australia.

Sadly Mark is a New South Welshman - and the less we say about that unfortunate and accursed place, the better. On his side of our great nation, those of his kind are lovingly referred to as "cockroaches". It is a most apt description.

I'm sure Mark is enjoying his cigars and brandy and the solitude that comes from having no friends on his side of the continent.

You've posted a nice pic of some Kiwi's there Del, bit like posting some kilted Welsh or Irish.
But here's a pic of a well known West Australian trying to get his extra leg over ~

Roo Rolfin".........soon to be included as a popular discipline for the commonwealth games.

Lighten up TN2 lots of the stuff on here can cause unintended offence.
Mark if I'd known he was a Western Australian I would have come up with something much more offensive, mind you Id have done the same if he'd been from NSW.
I'm in favour of any comments that strip the dignity and reputation from beasts like him (y)

Seeing that Mark has brought us full circle ..... back to 'Fair', .... today is the Glasgow Fair Monday Holiday and in my garden as I post (ain't wifi great) it's pushing 80 C at times with the sun being reflected off the wall. I'm eating biscuits and nice cheeses and sadly drinking the last of my Cantillon beers.
I might be dead and in heaven:angelic: 'cos normally at this time of year in Raintown I'd be ankle deep in puddles.

Del! ....By all means make the most of it! :D .... However, please refrain from wearing 'Budgie-Smugglers',. or 'Boulder-Holders' , especially if you have guests! .. somehow the sausages may not be a popular choice of food! more so with, 'Plum Tomatoes'.

Regards,

Mark

I see myself as more in the Buzzard-Smuggler end of the spectrum Mark :smug:
Food reference reminds me of another Ingolstadt story. Waiting for our flight home Ron, Davie and me were relaxing over a few beers at the Munich Airport Beer Garden.
When at the next table an extremely attractive young lady sat with her equally attractive friend and ordered a plate of Spargel (White Asparagus )in cream sauce.....get where I'm going with this? ;) Anyway along it came, meeting all our hopes and expectations in respect of size and shape. Did she pick each spear up and pop the tasty morsel slowly into her mouth...... no ..... she looked straight at us and chopped the asparagus into pieces stabbed each with a fork before gnashing on them ......... the effect was triple vegetable castration :inpain:
