Good Old Days ?

I was at Moms today and took some pics of the figures Dad and I had done back in the day, see if these ring a bell Apologies for the pics but they are not easy to get at/take out

And is there a squaddie in the country of a certain age that doesn't have one of these ?


It was the Poste Militaire Empress Dragoon trumpeter that got me back into it after 30years I finally completed the duo Dad started

Hi Guys ,

Airfix, All the Queens men (with badge as well as a base ) , Hinchcliffe (including sculpts by Mr Jarvis I think ?) ,Post Militaire .....all great pieces, loads of memories ...how many times did I try to get the ATQM ranges ....and failed !!!

I know mate .....just saying it was airfix that got me started...although I did initially think the highlander was airfix at first.really nice to see you still have your early stuff though

No mate it was Napoleonpeart's (Kev) comment he might have thought the same re the Highlander I believe that is a Hinchcliffe though 90% certain on that

Yeah the Highlander is by Dave Jarvis for Hinchliffe as is the mounted Guard Chasseur (sculpted by Julian Benassi), the Lancer Officer (sculpted by Dave Jarvis for Hinchliffe), the big Samurai is by Ray Lamb for Hinchliffe, the Napoleonic period British Hussar Officer is by Jarvis for Hinchliffe as is the British Napoleonic Infantry Officer. The vignette is definitely by Barry Minot.
