Is Gorilla superglue the worst product on the market? Just tried sticking a couple of resin parts together, 5 minutes later still hadn't set' I've already tried the standard & gel versions with the same results. Back to Loctite.

I , too, tried the Gorilla products with exactly the same results......awful stuff, which got chucked in the bin. I use one from a shop in Bury St. Edmunds called "Model Junction", who cater mostly for the model railway fraternity. The shop produces its own superglue in four consistencies, and I've found it great so far.

Odd. I use Gorilla Superglue Gel. Have to hold it in place for 15-20 seconds as it grips slower so you can manipulate it to get the placement right. But once set you better have it in to right place.

Only had one type of resin it wouldn't stick and that was the same for the 4 different types of superglue I tried and is notorious for being poor (Raging Heroes).

Usually just use the cheap stuff from Lidl, Aldi, Home Bargains etc. As often as not I can find Loctite on offer somewhere.
I don't drive around specifically, just pick some up when I see it.
Never had any issues even with the cheapest stuff.
