Gotcha! Daspletosaurus.

This is my Alonso 1/24 T. rex slightly converted to represent a 1/18 Daspletosaurus.

I changed the shape of the lacrimal hornlets in front of the eyes with milliput and leaned the body slightly down and more forward by bending at the ankle.
Then I painted it like a Giant Killer Rottweiler-Chicken.

I made a big base to look like the edge of a forest-floor with a fallen tree.

A corner with some stagnant water and algae for a little variation.

And this is what it turned out like after the final finish with pastel chalks.

It just fits in one of my display cabinets.

Spike, as I told you, I LOVE the way you handle Bases. Especially those Bases with Leaves on it. Incredible work, and well done. Surrounds the T-Rex in a natural way.

Frank

Thank you very much, Frank.

Aj, the leaves are glued down over a heavy misting of pva glue diluted with water. Once set, several passes of matt varnish help fix them.... for a while.

I took this model to a show during a storm last year and between my car and the doors to the hall a deal of my forest floor took to the heavens.

Spike.
