John, this is how I painted the breastplate.
1- Undercoat= acrylic brown with some dark green mixed into it.
2- Base = Liquitex irridecent bronze with a little dark brown and dark green
mixed into it.
3- Medium shadows = Base + more brown and a littlle more green mixed into
it.
4- Beep shadows = Medium shadows + more brown.
5- medium highlights = irredecent bronze.
6 - high highlights = medium highlights + a little golld powder mixed into it.
7- Extreme highlights = A glaze of gold powder mixed with Liquin.

I like it too. The light blue is well done. Makes for a nice change from the darker colors often seen on these types...:)

Nice sculpture, but as you can see from your casting the torso is hollow and comes in two pieces, definite draw back for me.
