This is a joint review with the photographs taken by my good friend Mario Peiro of Sal Paulo, Brazil. The figure is a white metal 75mm of a Greek Mercenary with 11 white metal parts sandwiched between layers of foam for protection.

Above you see the parts that Mario has layed out. He stated there were no major clean-up areas to be done with just the normal seam lines to be removed.

Above you see the front and back of the torso and the right leg which was cast separately. Dry-fitting the right leg to the torso was good with a tight fit.

Above you see the front and back of the right arm and the shield which has the left arm cast into the shield. You can also see a casting spur on the back side of the shield that had to be carefully removed.

Above you see the head with the crest as well as the sword scabbard.

Above you see the head and helmet tilted back so we can see the detail of the face.

Above you see the both sides of the cape as well as the pillar that fastens to the base and supports his right leg. There are locator holes in the top of the pillar for exact placement of the right leg.

Above is a close-up of the torso as Mario wanted the members to see the detail Maurizio has sculpted into the figure.

Conclusion:
After emailing back and forth Mario and I agree that this is an excellent figure in its casting, pose and detail. We both highly recommend it.

Speaking as someone who has completed this figure, let me confirm that it is an absolute joy to build and paint. Painting as you build will help cover details that will be impossible to reach once the figure is completed, so be prepared to work in sub assmeblies.

I am working on this one and I agree, it is a joy to paint. I agree with working in sub assembly steps for painting. Also of note, the sculpt is actually closer to a 70mm than a typical 75mm by this manufacturer.
