Hello everyone.

I have been a model maker a long time, but I feel that I am only just beginning to get even close to the standards I would like to achieve.

I am hoping that, by chatting with you guys and learning from you all. I might stand half a chance at getting even better.

Here are links to some of my more recent pieces. As you can see I am 'okay' but I feel like I am still missing some vital pieces of the puzzle to get to competition standards.

Anyway, look forwards to getting to know you all. I am based in Hyde, Cheshire in the UK infamous for prolific serial killer Harold Shipman and just a few miles down the road from where I was born, Hattersley, famous for... the Moors Murderers... I should really consider living somewhere else, while I still have time...

Nice work... the middle one did not open but even it is not my genre, its good stuff. I don't know the materials you use but my head will soon be on the chopping block and time to see how I make out!
I am guessing from past experience in the dim and distant past a variety of techniques is what is called for. cloth, leather, armour, hair and flesh all have such different finishes and reflections. It will be fun getting back and experimenting!
