This is my version of this superb figure of Raul Garcia Latorre, an elegant and proud officer of the British Grenadier Guard, waiting in the mud the order to attack.
I hope you like it!

A wonderful piece of art work as said to a classic figure which has stood the test of time subtle ground work again which aids the process of a thoughtful and and well executed figure beautiful

Hi Illa - a wonderful version of this figure. The detail in the face is particularly special. I just don't know how anyone can get eyes this small looking so good. Can I ask your technique - what size brush do you use to achieve this detail?
Cheers

Hi Mat,
Sorry for my late reply. Thanks for your comment! I usually use Kolinsky hair brushes whose sizes are 0 or 00. The technique is simple, I paint the eye with a clear color like cream, and then, I draw a thin line in the top of the eye and an small dot for pupil with black. At the end I add a very very small dot in the pupil with black mixed with any other color.
I hope it help you!,
Cheers,
Jose
