Sorry guys this project has ground to a halt due to work commitments over the past few weeks and the fact that I've picked up a new commercial sculpt to be completed for later on in the year (Top Secret I'm afraid - watch this space). The pause in production has also lead me to rethink the base build, I really think it needs to be something far more simple and understated so that the figures take centre stage. I've gone someway to filling out the armatures and will try to get some pics up this weekend just for the SBS fans amongst you. Cheers. Matt

Matt, I really like the base design you have now. It does not seem overly complicated. I am a bit curious as to how you could possibly simplify it even more. ~Gary

Gary, what I'm worried about is that base looks too much like a free standing, exterior building and doesn't 'capture' a cellar which is what I wanted. I was looking through my sketch book the other night and came across a very early sketch which just had a single back wall with the steps leading right up through them? I've attached a very quick drawing...
