Finished this today. The pavement(sidewalk) is cast from dental plaster, and then scribed. The "ironwork" is Fred Rex. It will be for a single 120mm figure + dog(http://www.armydogunit-ni.co.uk/RATS.htm) if I can find one, in Northern Ireland. Now after all that waffle would a signpost/lamppost be too much?
Cheers,
Carl.

Carl. looking good, although there's not a lot of room I think a signpost would help place the action. Perhaps a signpost wedgie, if you know what I mean.:)

Cheers Ken

Looks very real to me. The tarmac is very well done and the colours add a lively touch.
As an alternative to the (possibly somewhat done-before) lamp post, how about a mail box or a fire hydrant?

Cheers,
Adrian

Looking fine to me.
That tarmac is excellent. The colors are looking very bright for a road. Maybe a wash can help to tone it down.
Waiting for the doggy and the soldier.
