Not my subject matter and I don't like the painting style and flesh tones used, but the sculpt and casting look top quality which is what counts. I would buy similar quality pieces from periods I'm interested in so looking forward to see the next one.

Great debut, a bust sculpted by the hands of virtuoso Raul Garcia Latorre it will have plenty of sucess.
Regarding the paint job, my expectations are high when I see something painted by Fernando Ruiz, and this is a top work but IMHO he does not seem Scottish.

but not to understand why 1/12 and nort the much more favorable 1/10
as bust much to nimble-any bust under 1/10 is only waste of time.why not starting bust in 1/72...

Fantastic! I like the smaller 1/12 scale - more likely to buy busts in this scale than 1/9.

I really like this bust a lot.I like the 1/12 scale as i've already painted a couple of Ares Mythilogic busts in this scale(which are superb) and it's a nice change from the normal larger ones.
Being Scottish i've visited the site at Culloden where the battle was fought on Drumossie Moor, as it was then known as,and it is a very eerie feeling being there, especially where the grave stones of the different clans, including one marked as Mixed Clans, are littered over the battlefield
