A very nice little vignette!(y) ..and well rendered. Very well done.

However, this one did catch me off guard (Nearly). I have always been guilty of getting 'Hamburger-Hill', mixed up with 'Pork-Chop-Hill'.:eek: ... Why I do not know.:(.

I am just thanking the heavens that there was not an 'Aussie', battle called 'Another Prawn on the Barby'.:( ... this can be confusing.;)

Thanks Mark. Understandable. The Hamburger Hill battle took place in May of 1969. It was a brutal and to many an unnecessary battle fought in the high hills of the A Shau Valley. I recommend the book "The Crouching Beast" written by Lt. Frank Boccia who was a platoon leader during the battle. One of the best infantry combat books I have ever read.
