A very nice little vignette! ..and well rendered. Very well done.

However, this one did catch me off guard (Nearly). I have always been guilty of getting 'Hamburger-Hill', mixed up with 'Pork-Chop-Hill'. ... Why I do not know..

I am just thanking the heavens that there was not an 'Aussie', battle called 'Another Prawn on the Barby'. ... this can be confusing.

Thanks Mark. Understandable. The Hamburger Hill battle took place in May of 1969. It was a brutal and to many an unnecessary battle fought in the high hills of the A Shau Valley. I recommend the book "The Crouching Beast" written by Lt. Frank Boccia who was a platoon leader during the battle. One of the best infantry combat books I have ever read.
