Thank you to all of you for the kind words. I am glad you like my new work.

Very nice. Thanks for the info on painting the face. How did you paint the metallic parts? What paints did you use?
Hi pgarri27, to answer your question, I mainly use metallic paint from Vallejo (the Model Air series instead of the regular Model Color series) and Scale75 - all applied with brush. I also used some ink from Scale75 for adding different tones on metal parts. Inks can also be mixed with metallic colors. The main process of my way of painting metal is to apply the base color, add transition from dark to light areas, apply different tones using glaze, create scratches or worn or rust effect as needed, and bring out extreme highlight details. Hope this helps.

Excellent painting. The face looks like oils rather than acrylics. You have certainly mastered the use of this medium. Well done.

It's beautiful, properly well done, I'm a massive fan of Nuts Planet and was in two minds whether to buy this one, I think you might have swayed me lol.
Again, brilliant work, that's a level of paint job to aim for.

Regards.

Mick.

Thanks Jason, you certainly did a great job on this bust. I will be using it for an example in my future paintings.
