The model consist of 4 pieces , the torso , the head , the hand together with the cloak edge plus a very distinctive base , all parts fitting together accurately and with the minimal of work required , as virtually no flash lines were present in the review sample .

Fit is as I said particularly well done especially on the hand which is sculpted holding his cloak edge ..very cleverly done , I would recommend that this is dry tested first and painted separately to allow access to the details underneath .

Also of particular note was the folds on the cloak and the facial details all very accurately reproduced

The base is very nicely produced in the style of the period and adds to the presentation .

Fit is as I said very good with minimal flash (if any (y)) to deal with , so heres the front and rear views of the model with and without the head and hand (parts are held together with blu-tac for review purposes)

Final Thoughts : Another fine addition to the range and a great tribute to a pioneering soldier who had such an influence on the American Soldier of the time and who is still studied today , great sculpting as before with virtually flawless casting . Very High Quality and recomended to all .

Von Steuben can be obtained for 35 euro's plus shipping

Hi Nap,

thanks for the review(y)
Another fantastic work of Mr.Puchala, this is not my "War", but this guy is awesome:eek:
Congratulations Herr Ulrich for this superb work and for the afternoon match in South Africa(y)

Mr. Puchala, I love the Bust of Von Steuben great detail. The bust is perfect for the 4th of July celebrations.

Thanks, Steve! I need to learn the trade as you suggested. I'm trying!!:D

Maybe one day I shall be as good as these fine sculptors. Excellent bust of Von Steuben form Puchala, what detail!!

Steve, thanks for everything!!

Thanks for the preview, Nap!

The quality is excellent, which is why I'm a fan of Ulrich's figures, just absolute top-quality sculpting. I like the pose, and the expression on the Baron's face. I don't paint busts, but I might have to start, with this piece.

An Ulrich--servus, Ulrich! Ausgezeichnete Arbeit, ein Treffer!

Prosit!
Brad
