Thanks gentlemen, the fireworks started Friday night, lol, will continue for about 3 more days. People here go nuts with the fireworks. Making ribs in the smoker for later today to go with my beers and then down to the river front to watch a big display shot over the Mississippi River with synched music from the local Symphony Orchestra. And a big parade. It is a lot of fun.

I have to agree with the fireworks craze we seem to have here. I've been to weapon ranges that were quieter than this evening was.
Also parades, flags and more outdoor cooking than you'll ever see at any other time of the year.

The funny thing is down here in SC you can buy pretty much whatever you want in fireworks. It was quiet as a church last night. People swarm to the organized events though.
There is one 6" round tube they call the artillery shell........haven't heard that one yet.

Bob, up here in Pennsylvania, they only allow you the weak stuff, so everyone goes to Ohio or New York to get the good ones and they must have had a fire sale, (lol) because your average joe all over the area had displays that rivaled or bettered the pros.
