Hi, does anyone know if the Hardy Tempest tutorial DVD is available for sale yet? If so, is it available in Canada or the U.S.?

Thanks for the reply Hardy. Do you know yet whether there will be a North American version in NTSC or is it in European PAL where here in N.A. we will only be able to play it on a computer. Also, will there be distributors in Canada or the U.S.?

Hi, its still in production and will not be realeased by unique productions which is the one I see on amazon US. My advice would be to cancel your pre-order if you have one, I will announce when its ready via this and other forums. Many thanks. Hardy

Oh hey thanks for your response Hardy. I am so eager for these dvd's to come out. Your work has inspired me to experiment with oils and other mediums besides acrylics.

A compendium titles release, realistic cloth, leather & metallics......
this has been added to the wish list.....
Presuming that this is up to the usual high standards of of the other titles ( should be) this should be a very good addition to the resources library
We may even find out that Hardy looks nothing like his avatar

Since letting a lot of people down in the UK in July, Mr Tempest seems to have gone to ground.........the DVD's have never been released, don't hold your breath waiting for them.

Lay off Hardy, cut him some slack. He's working a lot and is VERY busy domestically at home and has higher priorities. Don't forget, this is a hobby folks.

I don't think this is the proper place to slag someone off. Why not PM them if you have a issue to resolve?
Is it possible that the release of these DVDs are beyond Mr Tempests control but if it is an issue of him not having completed figures for them maybe there is a good reason for it? Its not like he works in an industry that you can just throw money at a project to get it finished to a deadline - he does have a full-time job.

For your infomation my partner and I suffered a miscarriage of a most wanted baby in May! That combined with work commitments and a move have led me to have to cut back on shows. Sorry to have to cancel at the last minute but im afraid thats life!!!! Speaking from the heart I would rather cut myself off from some elements of the modelling fraternity than my family!
As to the dvd I have stated many times that its not going to be produced, released or distrubuted by anybody but me, when its finished I will be very happy to announce it.
I will end this on a very positive note, my partner is once again pregnant and Im going to be a father in late March.
