i am making a base with some water and its been more than 24 hours and its still not hardened.anyone ever used this stuff?
thanks

I presume it's Solid Water that you're using? Scenic Water should harden in just a couple of minutes, as soon as it returns to room temperature.

Anyway, if it's the mixed resin these can be a bit temperamental, assuming you got the proportions right you might just need to be a little more patient - maybe an additional 10 or 12 hours before you really start to worry. I'm always getting much slower setting with two-part products (as much as double) so I don't trust the times given at all any more!

If it is going to set and it's just being slow putting the base somewhere warm will help.

thanks for your answer iam using scenic water.returned to its previous state its like a jelly it doesnt get hard as a rock as it is supposed to..

I've used it in a couple of settings. I remember heating it up and then pouring it carefully on the base. It returned to a gellatin like state after a couple of hours at the most. But 24 hours???(n)

Just a thought though, if the surface on which it is poured contained impurities or it reacted with paint / other materials, I suspect it may affect the product. Maybe worth checking out.

Cheers
