Hat's off to Carl Reid.

I just returned form an extend work assignment in Texas to find a package from my good friend Carl Reid. In it was the Woodland Indian he sculpted for the APG. Seeing it in person I have but just one work, WOW!! The pictures were super but the real thing is much better. Carl is a world renown sculptor and that is not a secret. All of his work continually has and does the standard in our hobby but this one really grabbed me. Our/my heartfelt thanks to Carl for this very generous donation to the APG. I'm sure it will do well for the us.

I hope to have 3 or 4 ready at the MFCA Show next weekend.

I must now make a greater effort to get back to the UK for a visit and make good my promise to saturate Carl in thankful pints.

Could someone post a close-up of that face? I don't think there's enough resolution in the posted photo to yield a crisp close-up.
