Hi All,
I painted this a little while ago,I constantly felt I hadn't really finished it and for me the eyes were looking the wrong way and the caftan needing a tweek, well this corrected and feeling a little better about my effort, I really wanted to do Mike's awesome sculpt some justice, so here it is!
Thanks' for looking.
Best Regards
Paul

Hi Paul,
Glad you have been able to put this figure to bed. The eyes look much better though as usual your face is very life like. I also like the finish of he coat and the intricate pattern. The blood on the snow just adds to the atmosphere.

Cheers John, its hard not to complete or mentally finish a figure project, its all that creative outpouring,
and got to have a bit of gore!
They say it was not a nice place to be choices? choices?

Your very kind Jon and Marc
Thanks more so for posting,
Best Regards

Many thanks' Billy,Kieth,Borek and lastly Jon.
your all very kind and Happy New Year by the way!
I was thinking this was bit of a failure as a painted piece, the sculpt is superb the issue is doing it justice!
There really is not a great deal to it as figure's go but, its a big ask to wow the viewer
Best Regards

You have achieved the WOW factor here Paul.
For me the trauma of the battle, the awful weather and 'drab' overcoats are all cancelled out by a flash of the old red coat and the company standard.
Cheers,
Keith
