Hi All,
its been some time I know, but a short while ago I was tasked to paint this bust for Hawk.uk
I had just got some acrylics, just primary colours,I addmit I'm out my depth with them, but hey I thought I'd give it a go!
I did soften the face with a little oil paint(skin tones),I've a lot to learn.....
Thanks' for looking.
Best Regards
Paul

Cheers carl,tony,dan and marc,
the painting took two and a half hours one sitting, found them easy for detail like the balaclava, hard to blend with, much happier with Humbrols or oils, but need to give them a fair crack,i like the way they look for material, my colour selection was limited black, white, red, brown, green, yellow, blue.
Just a bit of fun, keep trying somthing new.
Thanks' again for looking and taking the time.
Best Regards
Paul

Tony,
at present I've been slapping paint on busts for Hawk.uk for box art, but I am painting Tiny Troopers Lieut Col John Douglas 11th Hussars 1856, will share when I've more pic's.
But I've looked through the forum from time to time.......;-)
