thanks again very much for the kind words ,
sambaman . I had forgotton about blackjack. I did those pieces over 10 years ago scary . I wish I could go back and do them again to be honest so much i would change , I was very unhoned back then . I love your paint on the billy bust though. originally he had his hat left on like the background pic on your sight but they changed it substantially after I had sent it. warriors had a very interresting art director back then , I did these busts for warriors and left the biz confused .Its very interresting to see those pieces still floating around . I do have the stalin bust somewhere if I can find it I will cast one up for you. warriors has disbanded I don't think they will mind.( I hope thet does'nt make me a recaster I did sculpt it  ) Pm me your address and I will see what I can do. I am going to be doing a 1/6 scale captain teague or should I say a teague like figure from at world end (sparrows father/brother) , and a bust I will post them when they are done, fictional I know but fun.
Jeff hanz rudel was the first bust I ever did again I would be very interrested to see a paint of your verion or blackjack .this has been a cool walk back in time again thanks for that. I was certain i was long since forgotten in this industry you have made me proud ...

I have the Blackjack" Pershing and the Rudel. The Pershing was my first bust and I got the color of the jacket wrong on the Rudel. Most people painted it as leather jacket but I found that it was a summer fabric jacket with leather trim. I found a lot of photos of the jacket but never one in color.

Jeff, interesting about the Rudel bust. I noticed the box art shows the jacket as leather as well. Although as I looked at it, it had what looked more like a fabric texture to it (good call Kent). I asked around about it on the forums, I think I got the best reply right here at the Planet, and I decided to go with a light-ish blue/gray collor. I think you're absolutely right though, it seems it was a heavy canvas/cotton type of material. I should pull that one off the shelf and finish him up!

Kent, PM coming your way. MANY thanks!
