Some of them are a pretty good start. I notice a trend on almost all of them, the eyes are too high on the face. The eyes are nearly center of the face. Get an anatomy book for artists and this will help you out quite a bit with proportions. Keep at it.

Thanks for the commentaries. I know the eyes are a little high, but I think about the hair or the helmet that soon use with the head and I need that the heads are usefull.

Yes I´m a fan of MOHAA and more exact, the project: "1936-Spain in flames' of which I am member.

Material: old Milliput ,cutter and water sandpaper. In the green use blue-yellow component, only a experiment of modeling. Normaly I always carving, i can modelling it is very dificult for my inexperience.

"Are the heads studies ?" I dont understand very well, but i not study nothing now :( , the heads are for 1936 project. A limited edition.

it will show my advances. Sorry very much, for my English.

A Hug, AkiLeon.

"Are the heads studies ?" - No entiendo bien q quieres decir Gordy, pero no estudio nada relacionado con el arte. Las cabezas son para una edicion limitada de figuras sobre la guerra civil española para el proyecto 1936.

Ire poniendo mis avances, Lamento mucho mi pesimo ingles.

Un abrazote, AkiLeon.

Me thinks there might be one or two gamers on here

Robin--- Counterstrike freak---Look for Pegasus on the servers

Dod? Aahhh, the best game in the world and the Avalnanche map... Ok, squad move out ;). I love Day of Defeat.

DOD is my other timekiller... if you see "hef" on a DOD server that'd be me ;)

Avalanche rocks! I like playing on the allied side only and grabbin' a Kar98!

"Use the Piat!"

Gordy, If you're ever online I normally play on the "Frenchy's pit" servers, #'s 1,2, or 3. Look for GUNG-HO.~Gary

Avalanche! One of my least favorite along with forest.

To keep this posting figure related, gaming along with period or soundtrack music gets me in the mood to sculpt.

Halo 2... I spend more time looking around the levels looking for interesting uniform details and objects than actually killing aliens...

When I started heads they had a lot of "issues." My advice is to take profile photos of friends, and draw nice geometric shapes to get the alignment of all of the features. Do a few larger heads, about 2 inches high out of Super Sculpey to practice making the features. When you move back down to 54mm, your heads will be very well proportioned. Good luck.

Finally, it's good to practice sculpting friends. It's a lot easier to do somebody you know, but frustrating when it doesn't look exactly like them...
