Thank you very much Nick. The texture of the goat or sheepskin, not sure which it is but suspect it could be either, made it easy to paint.

I consider myself fortunate that I have a fair amount of time to paint when I am at home on leave. It also helps to pretend I'm a bit deaf when my wife thinks of other jobs for me to do.

Thanks very much Gells.
The whites were done with a basecoat of Vallejo Model Colour Pale Sand 007 and then oils on top, Titanium White, Paynes Grey and a bit of this and that as I was going along in an unscientific way.
