Hi, I just joined the forum today. I started painting figures back in the '70's when Airfix first brought out their 54mm Napoleonics. I graduated to Historex and was very keen, exhibiting at the ME Exhibition in London. But then work and family interposed and I stopped completely, only re-starting a year ago with my retirement. I paint mainly in oils, still using techniques learned years ago. I'm looking forward to showing some of my work, and learning a lot from the masses of information here.

There's also Painting techniques where you will find much about Acrylics and Oils

ALL figures are welcome and of course Vignettes & Diorama ( we run friendly competitions if you wish as well , one which is a bi monthly comp where there are 3 classes to choose in which to enter )

Thanks Bill,
I reckon I'm to old to change my ways now and anyway, where would I store all of those little bottles? With 6 or 7 tubes of oils I have all the colours I need!
