HELP From Indian Army Buffs.

Greetings.

I have been looking at Hawk Miniatures Busts 1, Skinners Horse 1920 & 2,Bengal cavalry 1910.

My Question is :- are the Uniforms right for pre 1901 ( Victorian as I only do British Victorian 1838 -1901

Hi Mick - I would say that they are only suitable for the dates intended. The Bengal cavalryman would need the breast pockets removed for the Victorian era and the Skinners horse would have had a Glengarry for mess dress, rather than the side cap, which appeared around the Second Boer War - as far as my sources go!

That's stopped me getting shouted at by management when I go back to Euro tomorrow,
I wasn't 100% when I looked at them today so walked away to do some researh over night
