Hi!
How do I adapt an ammunition belt in resin around the torso of a bust?
Can I used an Hair dryer?
Many thanks!

Usually depends on the resin !.

I would drop it in boiling water, use tweesers to get it out and quickly mould it around the torso, be carefull not to bend the bullets so apply pressure to the center of the belt .You can fine tune it with a hairdryer.

You can also use a hairdryer in the same way, but allways keep pressure on the end you start with

Hope this helps

Stuart

Urethane resins have a heat deflection rating. It's the point where they will become malleable. It's rated as to protect from damage but that info could also be used for your needs.

I can't speak for any other resins than what I use (even different formulas in the same product line will vary) but for example, the resin I currently use deflects at 170 degrees Fahrenheit.

My guess is you want the minimum effective heat for the minimum effective time to avoid distortion. Also keep in mind that their will be slight outgassing during heating if you are sensitive.

Gentleman´s many thanks. Its gonna be very dificult task...
Does exist in market Photoetched ammunition belt in 1/10 ?

Hi Pedro , I've not seen a photo etched ammo belt anywhere in 1/10 ! If your belt is in two half's then bend from where they join , if that makes sense .
