Greetings.
First I must apologise to any member who has received a reply on there thread without a message attached. It is because I have been pressing random keys to sort this out myself.

I dont know if I need a new pair of glasses or I have my idiot hat on, BUT how do you post a PM to a member on a thread.

OK Mick, there's a couple of ways of doing it.

You can click on the name of the member you wish to send a private message and their info box will appear and you can then hit "Start a Conversion"

Or you can simply hit the "Inbox" tab at the top of the page and then hit "Start a New Conversion"
You need to enter the members name/i.e. their member ID in the top box named 'participants', type your message in the large text box then hit start conversion at the bottom of the page to send it.

Well it did work as far as sending a profile post Mick, you've done that ok, but not for a Private Message.

The profile post you sent me is visible to all members, but if you want to send a Private Message you need to click on the members name then hit "Start a Conversation" rather than 'Profile Page".

Try that and see how you go.
