200 YEARS FROM THE GREEK WAR OF INDEPENDENCE, 1821-2021
Dear fellow modelers,
Honoring the Naval Struggle of my Nation, I am very happy to announce the release of heroic arsonist Konstantinos Kanaris at 75mm. The figure was created under the guidance of my dear friend Alexandros Hassapis who was the art director of this project.
Additionally I would like to thank the exceptional photographer Demi Karatzaferi without whom our detailed work would never be captured as well as it did.
All kits will include the option of right hand holding a hook or a torch.
Heroic arsonist Konstantinos Kanaris at 75mm will be a limited edition figure and is available ONLY via preordering until the 24th of December 2021 by sending me a message at the below email:

And this is the real one ...:

Together with a few comrades, he launched an attack on the Ottoman fleet in front of Chios on the night of June 6th to 7th, 1822.

In a small boat they managed to approach unnoticed and set fire to the Turkish flagship. When the fire reached the powder chamber, the battleship blew up - among the 2,300 Ottoman casualties was their commander in chief, Nasuhzade (Admiral) Ali Pascha.

After Greek independence, Konstantinos Kanaris made it to the position of admiral of his country ...:

Cheers

Fantastic. Such a great subject too that I need to read more about. I have a couple of busts about Greek independence. Men with serious balls. Shame it’s a limited preorder. It’s the holidays and funds have already been blown but it seems to be a strategy that’s becoming more common.
