Nice job Goose! *shakes head* I remember when you couldn't even paint a straight line... and now look at you. Amazing how far you've come along.

Simply amazing!

I guess I'm thinking about some of the earlier posts that I saw on Armorama, they were always good, but I've really noticed a vast improvement in your painting skills seemingly over-night. You're painting smaller details, instead of using transfers on the shields your painting on the details, your ground works are leaps and bounds better, I'm just over all impressed and wish that you'd share some of that magic pixie dust that makes you so good with some of your online buds!

Costas...what can I say...two words: great work!!! Especially I like beautiful, live colors on the clothes. Metals looks great too.Compliments

best regards

Thanks John, but you must always remember that in the 4 years i have been painting miniatures , i have spend hundreds if not thousands of hours experimenting, and taking advice and the rest . So i think that improvement was ..to be seen. Now if it is vast ..well the audience will say . What i know is that to reach where i want to , i n3eed to climb mountains ahead, so .....i have to stay pretty humble ... Thanks my friend

Dear Arhtur thanks. I hope i did justice on this nice figure. The sculpture was really amazing and problem free so that motivated me to paint it . I am glad you like it , cause it;s a personality of your nation and that;s important to me . You will see it live , soon enough !!!! HE HE

Costas,
What a work. All those thinny details. And the rich colors are so nice.
Your work payed the figure off.
The base as always on your high standard. But in this case i would have choosen a palace floor or something like that.

Marc

Thanks a lot Marc . Well i was thinking of a Palace floor or some stairs , but the hand on the sword handle made me change my mind. I t was just a twist of the moment !!!

Hi Costas,

This looks like a very complicated figure to paint, lots of things to paint but you did a good job. Well done.
