Hi All sad news

Hi all I have some very sad news My Father Ellie's and Douglas Grandfather Past away today after a short illness. we just wanted everyone to know that we will be off line for a few days.

dad was 97 years old and was a veteran of WW2 he served in the RAF, in the far east and then the Berlin air lift after the war.

We all loved him so very much and now he's gone to be with my mum / grandmother. I can't say much more but he will always be remembered as the funny, loving caring Father / Grandfather.

Thanks Alan & Mick the kind words mean alot. We were with him this afternoon. his last words were you can all go now I'm fine. ellie said I love you Granddad he said I know and went off to sleep bless him. we are all pulling together. and we know we have lots of friends out their thank you again.

Thank you Steve, Nap,Keith,Ralph & Derek. the words of support are very welcome indeed and the family are doing fine we are looking back at a life well spent, he loved us all but my Mum/ Grandmother needed him more. he told us we were going to have to do things on our own now it was time for us to fly. we will never forget those words he said to us a few weeks ago.

We will fly and make you proud
