Hi all!

My name is Fernando Ruiz. I was born in Málaga, Spain, but I live in Barcelona since 13 years ago. I've been watching for some time this excellent forum and I decided to participate. :)

I have been painting figures for the last 18 years but not until so much ago that I decided to try to improve seriosly my techniques. One of the better ways to do so is attending and participating in shows. The other is to share my work with the rest of the modelers community. I am an active member of Pepe Gallardo's "Un mundo en miniatura" forum and I would like to start a participation in this one too.

I will post in this same tread some samples of my most recent works. I expect to open a single tread for every one of them in the next days:

Geoffrey de Chargny Poitiers 1356

I hope you like them :rolleyes::rolleyes:.

Hi Fernando,

Welcome to Planet Figure and thanks very much for sharing your fantastic work with us. It's wonderful to see and I hope we'll get to see much more in the future. I really like Kung Fu Rabbit.

Hola Fernando:

Welcome. Thanks for posting. Always great to see and study others work. I particularly like the subtle finishes you have achieved.

I was fortunate to visit Barcelona for a couple of weeks back in 2003 when I competed at the World Police and Fire Games. What a great city.

BTW, love the Pvt Godfrey (Dad's Army) avitar.

Paul

Thanks for your words of welcome, Tony and Paul. Hope to share a complete picture post on every piece as soon as possible.

Ps. Godfrey is the best of the bunch, along with Jonesy

Beautiful figures and great ground work. Would have to go with the first figure as my favorite. The flag and great armor work really set it off! :)

Thanks all for your comments!
I would never have imagined such a warm welcome. :D:D:D. I should have come around earlier. Tomorrow, I promise I will post at least one or two treads each focused on one figure, with all the pics and some explanation.

Saludos!!!:):)

Fernando, your minis are awesome, I've seen tem in a couple of painting contest (the knight in the "soldat de plom", with wich you win the fantastic jesus gamarra's mini;), and the two plane ddrivers of the JMD range in Torrent show) I think whole of the minis are very very good, continue in that way my friend!!!

Cheers!!!:):)

Thanks for your comments, Joan, Jeff and Alain. I'm glad you like the minis :):):). I have posted in another tread the pics of one of the minis.
